At Cloud, student safety is our number one priority. We have a well-trained professional staff with years of
experience, and their primary goal is to keep students safe.

On the Concordia campus, security is available 24 hours a day.

Security can provide help with:

* On campus Apartment lock-outs
* Dead car batteries
* Flat tires
* Unlocking vehicles
* Escort service on the Concordia campus

To keep students safe, Cloud also offers:

* Well-lit parking lots* Self defense classes
* Security foot patrol through the campus grounds and main buildings
* Posted visiting hours for the campus apartments on the Concordia campus are Sun-Thurs until 11 pm and Fri-Sat until 1 am

COVID-19

Cloud County Community College prioritizes the health and safety of our campus community, and the college is committed to promptly sharing accurate and useful information related to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the CCCC campus. As college leaders continue to work with the Cloud County Health Department in Concordia, Kan., and the Geary County Health Department in Junction City, Kan., and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment guidelines, we will continue to share relevant information with our students, parents, faculty, and staff.


Title IX and Sexual Respect:

Title IX is a federal civil rights law passed as part of the Education Amendments of 1972. This law protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive federal financial assistance. Click here to view the Title IX and Sexual Respect web page. 


Student Code of Conduct:

The Student Code of Conduct contains policies and procedures relevant to all students at Cloud County Community College. The academic honesty policy, attendance policy, computer usage policy, and details about student civil rights are included in this document. The document also includes details about the disciplinary process and procedures.

Behavioral Intervention Team:

Cloud County Community College (CCCC) is concerned about the health and safety of our campus community. We are committed to providing a safe environment where individuals are free to work, teach and learn, uninhibited by threats of intimidation or harm. To this end, CCCC has established the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT). BIT is responsible for assessing reports of problematic or concerning behavior/conduct of students, faculty, and staff, and implementing appropriate interventions/action items that are in the best interest of the individual and the campus community. Availability of Annual Security and Fire Report:

A free copy of Cloud County Community College’s Annual Security report can be obtained by contacting Stephanie Downie, Director of Auxiliary Services or by downloading the 2022 Annual Security and Fire Report here.

This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings, on property owned or controlled by Cloud County Community College, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

It also includes institutional policies concerning campus security and safety.
