Financial Aid Cost of Attendance

Cloud County Community College's standard Cost of Attendance (COA) budget consists of the following categories: Tuition & Fees, Books & Supplies, Food & Housing, Transportation, Miscellaneous, and Loan Fees.  These budget items are calculated for full-time students based on the averages of institutional charges and estimated cost of living expenses for our Kansas service area.

Initial awards in our official Financial Aid Offer Letters are generally based on a full-time, Fall and Spring budget. The COA and Aid Offer will be adjusted accordingly if a student's actual enrollment status differs from that.

A student's total amount of Financial Aid (scholarships, grants, loans, FWS) is not to exceed the Cost of Attendance.

If the estimated expenses of the COA is not reflective of the student's actual expenses, the student may request a Cost of Attendance Adjustment by contacting the Director of Financial Aid at 800-729-5101 ext. 284 or finaid@cloud.edu. The COA may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis upon submission of proper documentation that justifies the adjustment.
