 Motorcycle Rider Education

People break into the biking world for many reasons: anticipating exciting adventures, reveling in the freedom of open roads, embracing the camaraderie that exists between bikers, and sporting the obvious “coolness factor” inherent in bikers top the list.

Whatever your reason, you’re in the right spot to embark on your own adventure.

Becoming a biker encompasses learning skills and understanding how and when to use them.

Our Motorcycle Safety Foundation trained coaches carry 160 years of combined riding experience. They’ve coached hundreds of bikers from very inexperienced and timid students to veteran riders. Each coach has a burning desire to help you embark on your riding career proficiently.

In the classroom you’ll learn biking basics and safety skills.

On the range you’ll learn basic skills like shifting and braking, maneuvering skills like accelerating and turning and safety skills like controlling skids and stopping quickly.

Our course is on 2 1/2 days typically beginning on Friday evening 5:45 pm-10:00 pm (all classroom) and continues Saturday and Sunday 7:45 am-5:00 pm (approxmately 6 hours on motorcycle and 2 hours in classroom each day). Daytime classes are scheduled once a month for those who work weekends or other shifts. One-on-one private lessons can be scheduled at the student's convenience.
Successfully completing the Basic Rider Course gives you the privilege to skip any further riding or testing at the DMV and straightway receive the motorcycle endorsement on your license.
