A celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on January 23.

Cloud County Community College’s Black Student Union will be host to an event on Thursday, Jan. 23, to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in Cook Theatre on the Concordia campus.

Cloud County Community College’s Black Student Union will be host to an event on Thursday, Jan. 23, to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in Cook Theatre on the Concordia campus.

 

Students, faculty and administrators will make presentations on the life and vision of King. Students will perform musical selections, give speeches, and perform poetry and dance routines. The event will culminate with the keynote address, given by Dr. Adrian Douglas, CCCC President.
