Chelsea McCall teaches all agriculture courses related to plants and soils.  This includes crop science, horticulture, range management, soils, environmental quality, precision agriculture, and many more.  She also coaches the crops and soils teams at Cloud County Community College.  Chelsea’s passion for teaching started when her agronomy advisor, Dr. Kevin Donnelly, had her teach one of his crop science labs at Kansas State University while completing her B.S.  Since then she taught crop science labs for seven semesters, weed science lab one semester, and assisted in integrated weed management at KSU before taking her position at Cloud County Community College.  Her M.S. research and thesis was “Integrating Cover Crops and Herbicide Programs for Horseweed and Palmer Amaranth Control in No-Till Soybeans” and was completed through the Weed Science program in the Agronomy Department.

Chelsea’s interests include learning more about the Lord, helping her husband on the farm, spending time with her growing family, identifying plants, studying soils, gardening, cooking, helping others, and spending time outdoors.
