The aim of Cloud Online is to assist you in achieving your educational, career, and personal goals. Online OPEN-ENROLLMENT classes available year-around offer you a flexible and convenient means of working toward a degree or upgrading workplace skills while meeting your family and work commitments.

Our accredited Online degree program offers for-credit coursework leading to Associates degrees. General education courses applicable to all associates degrees are available in addition to curriculum components leading to completion of the Criminal Justice, Childcare, and General Business Associate of Applied Science degrees. Coursework leading to the Microsoft Office User Specialist certification are also available.

Before beginning the application process, we encourage you to review the Overview of Admissions Procedure and Overview of Enrollment Procedure.

In order to apply and enroll for Online Classes, please follow these three steps:

  1. Complete and submit the Admissions Form, and choose “Internet” as your primary campus.

  2. Complete and submit the Online Enrollment Form. On the enrollment form, you select the courses you want to take and complete the enrollment process.

Overview of Admissions Procedure

  1. If you do not have a completed Admissions Form on file with Cloud County Community College, your first step is to complete and submit the online Application for Admission form.

    We encourage you to print the Application for Admission pages for your files. The Admissions checklist will guide you in obtaining the information we need to complete the Admissions process.

    You will receive an acknowledgement e-mail from the Online Clerk confirming receipt of your application within 2 to 3 business days, except during scheduled college breaks.

  2. Next, immediately make arrangements to have required transcripts and test scores forwarded to the college. This is especially important if you intend to enroll in courses having pre-requisites - Examples: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra and English Composition I.

    You may proceed with enrolling in up to 6 credit hours of coursework that do not have prerequisites while your transcripts and test scores are enroute to us.

  3. If you plan to utilize federal financial aid, gather any information necessary to complete federal financial aid application forms. Use the CLOUD OnLine Shortcuts links above to access the Financial Aid Office page.

Overview of Enrollment Procedure

  1. Preview the Tech Requirements page for updated minimum technology requirements. Submission of the enrollment form implies your agree to provide for yourself the minimum technology requirements identified.
  2. Make sure the courses you are selecting are applicable to your desired program of study before you enroll. You are also encouraged to verify that the courses you want are transferable to your degree granting institution if you intend to obtain an Associate degree from a 2-year college other than Cloud or if you intend to obtain a Bachelors degree from a 4-yr institution. Catalog descriptions for each Online course are linked to the catalog ID number of each course listed on the CLOUD Online Course List page.
  3. After verifying that the courses you want to enroll in fit your needs, complete the Online Course Enrollment Form. Print the confirmation page for your records. You will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your enrollment from the Online Clerk within the next 2 to 3 business days except during scheduled college breaks.
  4. The Online Clerk will send to you an e-mail invoice for tuition, fees, and textbooks. You will have 10 business days to respond. The ways by which you may make payment are described in the materials linked to the Payment Option section.
  5. After payment or payment arrangements are made, you will receive from the Records Office an official notification of enrollment. If you opted to purchase your textbooks through our bookstore, these will be shipped the day of official notification. Your instructors will also be notified.
  6. Your instructor will send you information about your system username, password and how to begin the course.
