How do I apply to live on campus? 

To fill out and submit a housing application, go to icloud.cloud.edu

At the top of the screen log in with your username and password (which is given to you by admissions)

Click the 'Candidate' tab then click on the housing application link towards the bottom of the screen. 

When can I move-in?

Sunday August 13th, 2023 from 9:00am - 5:00pm

Monday August 14th, 2023 from 10:00am-Noon

We highly recommend that you move-on on August 13th - more information will be sent to you at the end of July. 

How much does it cost to live on campus? 

THOR - $3,720 per semester

    • Located in Thunder Heights and Buildings 7 and 15 of T-Bird Village
    • You will have your own private bedroom with a semi-private bathroom you share with your roommate(s).
    • This price includes rent, utilities, cable, Wi-Fi, and 17 meals a week in the cafeteria. 

BLACK & GOLD - $3,000 per semester

    • Located in Thunder Heights where you will share a living space and bathroom with one person. 
    • Located in T-Bird Village Apartments where you will share a bedroom with one or two people and share the living room, kitchen, and bathroom with three or four people.  
    • This price includes rent, utilities, cable, Wi-Fi, and 17 meals a week in the cafeteria. 

What should I bring?

What you may need: backpack, bedspread, blanket, blue painter's tape, cleaning supplies, clothes hangers, clothing (all weather), debit/credit card, dishes, flashlight, health insurance card, laundry detergent, laundry bag or basket, dryer sheets, medications, school supplies, personal grooming items, pillows, sheets (twin XL), surge protectors, toiletries, wastebasket

What you might need: bicycle, cable TV cord, can opened, dry erase board, first aid kit, laptop, mattress pad, microwave, mini fridge (less than 5 cubic feet), posters, rug, speaker

What you should leave at home: candles, wax warmers, plug-in air fresheners, extension cords, nails, screws, window air conditioners, pet, weapons, firearms, ammo

When will I know who my roommates are? 

The Coordinator of Residence Life will post housing assignments (which include your roommate(s) and what building you will live in) before July 25th. 

How can I view my housing assignments? 

After housing assignments are posted (July 25th) you can view your assignment on your icloud account. 

If you are on a computer:

log into iCloud at icloud.cloud.edu

Click the Student tab at the top

Then Residence Life on the left column

Then View Your Residence Information at the bottom of the page

If you are on a phone or tablet:

Log into iCloud at icloud.cloud.edu

Tap the three lines on the top left, then Student

Then on the bottom of your screen there is a black circle with a yellow >, click on that, then Residence Life

How do I cancel my housing application?

You will need to email The Coordinator of Residence Life at sdudley@cloud.edu to cancel your housing application.

What type of housing is available?

One of the most unique things about Cloud's campus housing is all of the different options. We have apartment style, "Jack & Jill," private rooms, shared rooms, having one roommate to having four roommates - we have it all!

How many students live on campus?

Our capacity for housing is 304. In the next few years we hope to increase our capacity with a new building!
