The Cloud County Community College Foundation will be host to a President’s Social on Saturday, September 16, at the Broadway Plaza in downtown Concordia.
Heather Gennette, Foundation Executive Director, said the community celebration is to honor all the generous donors to the College.
“This event is our opportunity to recognize the individuals and businesses that help us fulfill our mission,” Gennette said. “With their support, we are able to provide financial support to students through scholarships and assist the college with new initiatives that will in turn help our community.”
The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 5 p.m. with yard games and other activities. There will be food vendors from 5-8 p.m., and all donors will be recognized at 8 p.m. The evening will conclude with a free concert by the Lazy Wayne Band. The Social is a BYOB event.
“We are so excited to host this community event and show the impact our amazing donors have made to CCCC students!” Gennette said. “It will be a great time to come together, enjoy some music and activities, and celebrate the generosity of our incredible donors.”
