The Cloud County Community College Foundation announced the conclusion of its most successful employee fundraising campaign to date. The record-breaking campaign ended with 72 percent of Cloud County’s employees giving more than $35,000 to more than 30 different scholarships, athletic and academic programs, organizations, and other student engagement opportunities.

Total giving increased by two percent over last year’s giving campaign, bringing in $35,596. This year’s internal fundraiser ran through the month of September with the theme “Cloud Proud” and would not have elicited such generosity without the vital contributions of 105 dedicated employees.

“I am so grateful for the overwhelming support we received during our Cloud Proud employee giving campaign,” said Foundation Director Heather Gennette. “The dedication of our faculty and staff from both campuses is apparent through their philanthropic giving. They supported scholarships, athletic and academic programs, and several other funds that will enhance our students’ experiences and promote success collegewide. I am truly Cloud Proud to work with these extraordinary people!”

Cloud County President Dr. Adrian Douglas said she was very pleased with this year’s successful campaign.

“This employee giving campaign is just one other way our employees show their love and dedication to our students,” Douglas said. “Thank you to all CCCC employees who gave! You all warm my heart and continue to make me Cloud Proud.”
