A number of employees of Cloud County Community College were honored during the annual Employee Appreciation luncheon on Monday, May 18.

A number of employees of Cloud County Community College were honored during the annual Employee Appreciation luncheon on Monday, May 18.

 

T-Bird Choice Administrative and Support Staff Awards: Eric Gilliland, Head Baseball Coach was presented the Administrative Support Award. This award is presented to a member of the Administrative Staff for advancing the mission of the institution by leading the charge of their given area. Sherry Drake (not pictured), Information Center Specialist/Assistant to the Academic Divisions, was presented the Support Staff Award. The annual award is presented to a member of the Support Staff who is nominated and chosen for demonstrating tireless efforts in their area of the college, while putting customer service at the forefront.

 

Board of Trustee College, Student Service and Excellence in Instruction Awards: Shelly Farha, Business Department Chair received the Board of Trustees College Service Award. This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding or exemplary service to the college. Kris Farmer, Director of Advisement and Retention (left) and Amanda Strait, Director of Online Services, received the BOT Student Service Award. The award is given for outstanding or exemplary service to the students of Cloud. Dr. Julia Galm, Instructor in English and Speech received the Excellence in Instruction Award. This award is given to a faculty member who has demonstrated outstanding instruction, curriculum, and/or assignment design in their classroom.

 

Longevity awards were also presented on Monday.
