No Supplemental Instruction courses are being provided at this time.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is an academic assistance program that uses group study to help students succeed in traditionally difficult courses.

SI is regularly scheduled, out-of-class, group sessions, that give students an opportunity to meet with classmates to compare notes, discuss course readings and key concepts, develop study skill strategies, and  prepare for exams.

The three-fold purpose of SI is to 1) reduce the high DFW rate in difficult courses, 2) improve students’ grades, and 3) increase retention and graduation rates. The ultimate goal of SI is to help students be successful in college.
