We will place based off the highest score for English and Mathematics courses. Accepted placement scores* include ACT, Accuplacer, cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) with grade for 2nd semester Algebra 2 or the student's most recent English course, SAT, and ALEKS. 

  • Math scores must be taken within the past three years. 
  • English scores must be taken within the past five years.

Additional Placement Testing Information

  • There is a $10 Accuplacer testing fee due at the time of testing (check, card, or cash is accepted).  
  • Note:
    • There is a $38 Accuplacer testing fee due for remote placement testing with Proctor U. 
      • Additional fees may apply for the student, depending on the timing of when  the exam is requested after a test voucher is created. 
        •  On demand, take it now (<24h): $8
        • On demand, take it soon (>24h<72h): $5
  • Access the Accuplacer Student Portal here to view practice resources, test taking tutorials, and access your Accuplacer Score Report. 
  • We partner with Proctor U to provide a convenient and live proctoring option. Ask about proctoring when you make your appointment for Accuplacer testing.
  • Remote testing might also be available in your area (the remote testing site may charge additional fees.)
  • Retest policy: There is a 1 week waiting period required between Accuplacer test sessions.
