The Music Department hosts a variety of concerts throughout the year. These events are open to the public.

Youth for Music        THIS HAS BEEN CANCELED

Cloud County Community College and Tom's Music House of Concordia have been sponsoring the annual Youth for Music event for more than 50 years.

Early-bird registration is Friday January 27. Finalized registration February 1st. You may email your registration to scaspers@cloud.edu. For your entries please list the following information: Name, vocal or band, SATB for vocal, instrument for band. Year in school, and how many years they have been in YFM. School Name and Instructor name.

Youth for Music is a one-day, intensive music camp for choral and band students from high schools throughout the region. Clinicians work with our guest students to rehearse and present a capstone performance for the public that concludes the event. Rehearsals for all ensembles are open to the public, which is a great way for community members to see the incredible hard work and musicianship of the region's up-and-coming musical talent.

The concert will be February 11, 2023, 6 p.m. at the Brown Grand Theatre in downtown Concordia. The Youth For Music concert is free to the public.
