Music Ensembles

Rolling Thunder Pep-Band & Drumline A photo of the Pep Band playing.Rolling Thunder Pep Band and Drumline is an important and integral instrumental musical ensemble here at Cloud County. This ensemble provides a high level of school spirit and energy for the college and performs very frequently for athletic events, music concerts, and various other school events throughout the year.
This ensemble rehearses three times a week.


Cloud 9 Jazz Choir
A photo of the Cloud 9 Jazz Choir.Cloud 9 Jazz Choir is an elite vocal ensemble at Cloud. This auditioned choir consists of only 9 talented signers divided into SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass) parts and performs a standard blues, jazz, and popular vocal repertoire.
The Jazz Choir performs both on and off campus. 
This ensemble rehearses three times a week.


Cloud Kicks Jazz Band

Cloud Kicks Jazz Band is an auditioned ensemble open to both college and community members; it performs Blues, Jazz, Big Band, Latin, and Rock selections that are traditionally associated with jazz ensembles. This group frequently performs both on and off campus and is sometimes combined with the Cloud 9 Jazz choir. 
This ensemble rehearses one evening a week. 

North Central Community Concert Band
A photo of the NCK Community Band playing.North Central Kansas Community Concert Band is a non-auditioned wind ensemble that features traditional concert band repertoire, including transcriptions, arrangements, marches, and contemporary works. This ensemble is open to both community members and students.
They rehearse one evening a week and perform in concerts both on and off campus. 


Cloud County Community Chorale/Concert Choir
A photo of the Community Chorale singers.Cloud County Community Chorale/Concert Choir is a non-auditioned community vocal ensemble that is open to signers from the college and community. The Chorale focuses on fostering arts and music for the community within Concordia and the wider region.
This ensemble rehearses one evening a week.
