College Finances and Regulations

The College’s finances are audited annually, and an independent auditor’s report is produced in accordance with U.S Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Financial statements and other supplementary information are also included to more fully describe the College’s financial position.

The purpose of the audit is to test internal controls for compliance with regulations regarding federal programs, including but not limited to Title IV Funds and federal grants. The College is responsible for compliance with federal statutes, regulations, and the terms and conditions of its federal awards applicable to its federal programs, and all internal controls associated with such compliance. The Auditor is responsible to express an opinion on compliance for each of the College’s major federal programs in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States. The College’s goal for each annual audit is to receive an unmodified opinion, which means the college complied, in all material respects, with compliance requirements that could have a direct and material effect on each of its major federal programs.
