President's Message

Welcome to the Cloud County Community College (CCCC) website.

Dr. Danette Toone

Welcome! As the president of CCCC, I’d like to be the first to tell you we’re happy you are here at Cloud. Whether you are coming to us this year as a new student or returning to finish your studies, we are so excited for the year and all that awaits you.

If you are a new student, I applaud your decision to become a T-Bird. You have made a great choice! Not only will you receive an excellent education here, but you are doing it all at a fraction of the cost of attending a big university. If you are a returning student, finishing your certificate or degree will enhance your future job opportunities or prepare you for continuing your education.

You should know that by coming to Cloud County Community College, you are in good company. Almost half of all students attending college are at a community college because we have so much to offer. At CCCC, whether you attend our Concordia campus, our Geary County campus, on-line, or at one of our high school partners, you will find our faculty takes the time needed to help you understand the subject and learn. And our support services are here to help you succeed! From academic advising, to the Learning Skills Center, TRiO, and our fitness center, you’ll find friendly faces and helpful people that care about you and your education.

We are your community college. If you want to earn an associate degree or a certificate, or complete a few courses to learn a specific skill that will help you get a better job, we can help. We can also meet your needs if you want to complete the first two years of college and transfer to a four-year institution. Wherever you may decide you want to go in your future, you can get a great start here at Cloud.

Please let us know how we can help you in getting where you want to go. Going anywhere starts here at Cloud! Best wishes for a great year. Go T-Birds!
