High School Graduates or those who hold a High School Equivalency Diploma are admitted without reservation after having the following on file with the Admissions Office.

    1. Application for Admission.

    2. ACT, ASSET/Compass, or SAT scores. These scores are required if enrolling in Composition or Algebra courses.*

    3. Complete (8 semesters) high school transcript (course/grade based or competency based) or Kansas State High School Equivalency Diploma.**

    4. When applicable, a transcript of prior college hours.

* Some courses have prerequisites: ACT/SAT/ASSET/Compass scores, satisfactory writing sample scores, or a satisfactory grade in a target developmental course. We encourage you to talk with one of our Academic Advisors about your desired program of study and meeting any course prerequisites prior to beginning your program of study.

Persons not meeting the above requirements should contact the Director of Admissions prior to enrollment.

** High school students may enroll as special students if they have earned high school junior status and have written permission from their high school principal or counselor. If you want to investigate further, contact our Admissions Office.
