Key responsibilities
Develop a program to provide counseling to students experiencing academic and personal
problems. Determine appropriate accommodation for students with disabilities and make arrangements to provide those accommodations.
Insure that the college is in compliance with the requirements of the Americans with
Disabilities Act in its dealings with students. Assist the advisement staff in selection
of test instruments and appropriate evaluation of test scores and other criteria for
advising students. Provide three to nine hours of instruction in various areas of psychology each semester.
