CCCC Star Party set Saturday, Nov. 17
(CONCORDIA, KS) -- Cloud County Community College invites stargazers to the Concordia campus Saturday evening, Nov. 17 to view an interesting array of celestial objects in the night sky. Among featured events will include the Planet Mars; the Stars Betelgeuse, Rigel, and Deneb, and the Comet Holmes.
Dennis Smith, CCCC physical science instructor and Earl Bane Observatory director, invites the public to the free viewing from 8 to 10 p.m.
The observatory is located on the CCCC Concordia campus near the soccer fields, up the hill from the college entrance flagpole.
