CCCC Geary County campus students new members of Phi Theta Kappa honor society

 

(CONCORDIA, KS) --  Thirteen Cloud County Community College Geary County campus students were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa on Nov. 30 in Junction City.

 

Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society of the two-year college.

 

New members of Beta Eta Xi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa are Rachel Moore, Jamira Rawls, Denise Hoff, Donnie Wolfe and Courtney Young, Junction City; George Crowder, Sheena Minear and Sharon Woolever, Manhattan; Elaine Clark and Deborah Daily, Solomon; Samantha Beames, Herington; Melissa Boyson, Milford; and Lavon Clark, Salina.

 

Dr. Peter Pellegrin of the Geary County campus faculty is the chapter advisor.  With more than two million members, Phi Theta Kappa promotes scholarship and honors students who are dedicated to scholarship, leadership and service.
