CCCC Annual High School Art Show scheduled April 4
(CONCORDIA, KS) – Artwork from students at 15 area schools will be on display during Cloud County Community College’s Annual High School Art Show on Friday, April 4 at Arley Bryant Gymnasium on the Concordia campus.
The display will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., April 4 at no charge.
An added show feature this year is a lecture about art as a career by St. Louis artist Catherine Magel and her assistant, Mara Smith. The two St. Louis artists are creating the Whole Wall Project for the Cloud County Historical Society. They are carving a large relief wall project from bricks from Cloud Ceramics in an art room at the college. Their presentation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in Cook Theatre.

Among show judges is Larry Zvolanek, Osborne. An awards ceremony is scheduled at 1 p.m.
