Cloud County Community College to host Feb. 23 Broadcasting Career Fair
(CONCORDIA, KS) -- High school students and adults contemplating careers in radio broadcasting can visit with area radio station staff and get free admission to a college basketball game at a Feb. 23 Broadcasting Career Fair at Cloud County Community College’s Concordia campus.
The free event, which includes food and beverage, is from 4 to 6 p.m. Sponsors are Cloud County Community College; KVCO Radio, the college’s radio station; KNCK and KCKS-KISS Radio, Concordia, and KCLY and KFRM Radio, Clay Center. The KVCO studio on campus also will be open for tours.
Students interested in attending the career fair and the CCCC men’s and women’s basketball games against Pratt Community College that evening should contact CCCC Instructor John Chapin, (800) 729-5101, ext. 333.
CCCC offers a two-year associate of arts degree in radio broadcasting.
