How can we help?
The Learning Skills Center provides support for students seeking academic success. The Center offers college preparatory courses through individual and small group instruction. Developmental courses are available in reading, vocabulary, study skills, grammar, spelling, mathematics, and pre-algebra. Different learning styles can be accommodated. Peer tutors are available on a drop-in basis, according to the posted schedule.

Need extra credit?
Courses are available for credit toward graduation. Free individual assistance is provided by professional staff and college-approved peer tutors. Group workshops are presented without charge on specific topics. Computers are available for student use.

Spring 2008 Schedule
The LSC will be closed April 13-14. Beginning May 12, tutors only work by appointment. The LSC will close at 5pm on May 14, and there will be no Study Table that day. On May 16, no tests will be given after 12 Noon. The LSC closes at 4:30pm on May 16.
