Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED Programs

The mission of the Cloud County Community College Adult Basic Education Program is to enable adult learners to be literate, productive, and successful in the workplace, home, and community. The ABE/GED Program is committed to lifelong learners and providing opportunities to those who want to further their education through our adult education and GED preparation programs. Earning your GED/Kansas High School Diploma enables you to obtain a better job, continue your education, increase your income, and most of all feel better about yourself. GED Graduates from our program receive a tuition free scholarship for one three credit hour class at Cloud County Community College.

The ABE/GED program at Cloud County Community College offers several classes throughout the service area. These classes assist students who are:

There is a small materials fee and a fee for the GED Test. Students must participate in an orientation before attending classes. Orientations are held in early August, mid-October, early January, and mid-March. Classes are small and taught by well trained, credentialed teachers.
