Kevin Pounds began working at CCCC in the Fall 1977 and his job title was Assistant Baseball Coach, Men and Women's Assistant Basketball Coach, and Intramural Assistant. In 1979, Pounds began fulltime faculty duties in the Social Science Department and was Men's Basketball Assistant until 1995. He assumed the duties of Social Science Department Chair in 2006. Pounds has been married to Deanna since July of 1977 and they have five children: Christian, Michael, Jordan, Joshua, and Kaleb. His Hobbies are farming, sports, and family.
