Engineering
Associate of Science Degree

An engineering student in the community college can complete approximately one-half the requirement for the Bachelor’s degree, but must select courses in keeping with the curriculum in the university of transfer.
The beginning course in mathematics for the engineering curriculum is Analytical Geometry and Calculus I, provided the entering freshman has sufficient background in Algebra and Trigonometry. The student lacking a high school background in mathematics will need to allow more time to meet the requirements in engineering.
Two year pre-engineering programs at Cloud County Community College are: Industrial, Mechanical, Nuclear, Agricultural, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and Petroleum.
