Concordia, a community of some 6,500, is an agricultural and shopping center located in Cloud County in North Central Kansas and is the trade center. Major businesses include F&A Food Sales and ABB Air Preheater, Inc. The historic and beautifully restored Brown Grand Opera House is located in downtown Concordia. It is the home for the Brown Grand Artist Series and the Community Concert Series. The Theatre is open daily for tours.

Milford, Glen Elder and Lovewell Reservoirs provide opportunities for camping, fishing, boating, and other recreation options and the Concordia Country Club has a beautiful nine hole golf course.

Cloud County is often referred to as the Stained Glass Capital of Kansas and many of the local churches and businesses offer tours to display some of the wonderful artwork in Concordia.
