Steve has an Associate of Arts Degree from Barton County Community College and received his Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in December 1991. Schroeder completed an internship at Northwestern University in Chicago in the spring of 1992 and then attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison majoring in Health Education.
During his career with Cloud, Steve has earned the Kansas Jayhawk West Conference Athletic Trainer of the Year title twice.
Steve is married to Jennifer Schroeder, a librarian at Cloud County Community College and the couple has two children, a daughter, Laken and a son, Hunter. Besides spending time with his family, Steve also enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time.
