A native of Washington, KS, Aaron Acree is not a new face to Lady Thunderbird softball. From 1993-1996 Acree served as assistant coach at Cloud, leading the Lady Thunderbirds to a Region VI championship and a 3rd place finish at the National Tournament. Acree returned to CCCC after coaching and teaching in Atchison, KS. Prior to that, he was head softball coach at Beloit High School and assisted softball coaching at Fort Hays State University and Thomas-More Prep High School, both in Hays, KS.
Acree earned a Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education and Health Education from Fort Hays State University. Acree and his wife Jenny are proud parents of a son, Brennen and a daughter, Hanna.
Outside of work, Acree enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and working outside.
