Odom named 2nd Team All-American

(Concordia, KS) -- Sophomore, forward Daryl Odom was selected to the 2nd Team, NJCAA All-American team last week. The Lancaster, California native ended his playing days at CCCC with an amazing 33 goals and 21 assists. Odom has taken several recruiting trips this fall and plans to make his decision in the spring.

Odom named Jayhawk West Player of the Year

(Concordia, KS) -- Men’s soccer player Daryl Odom was named 1st team All-Jayhawk West and voted “Player of the Year” by the coaches. Odom, a sophomore forward from Lancaster, California, recorded 15 goals and 12 assists on the season. Fellow Californian Robby Gonzalez was selected to the Jayhawk West 2nd team. Gonzalez hales form Palmdale.

On the women’s team, freshman forward, Nakita Menefee was selected to the NJCAA Region VI, 2nd Team. Menefee is a native of Wichita and a graduate of South High.

CCCC looses at Northern Oklahoma

(TONKAWA, OK) -— Playing without two key starters, the Cloud County Community College men’s soccer team lost 4-2 to Northern Oklahoma here, Monday. Second-leading scorer Robby Gonzalez and starting forward Ahmed Al-Maliky did not play in the match for the Thunderbirds.
