The Fitness Center promotes the health and fitness of students, staff, and the community by providing a safe and effective facility.
It is located on the west end on the upper level of the gym.
REGULAR SEMESTER HOURS:
Monday - Friday- OPEN 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday - OPEN 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Hours change during holiday and semester breaks. Changes in the regular schedule will be posted on the website and in the Fitness Center.
Closed: December 20 at NOON until January 2 at 8:00 am
Open: January 2-3 8:00 am-6:00 pm
Closed: January 4-5
Open: January 6-10 8:00 am-6:00 pm

The Fitness Center boasts an impressive selection of equipment for muscular development and cardiovscular workouts. Bench press stations, squat cages, and a set of free weights complement the array of weight machines. Four treadmills, 4 elliptical machines, and 4 bike machines comprise the core group of cardio machines. Around the upper level of the gym, the 160 meter track is open to runners and walkers.
Weight training classes are available. In addition, several activities are sponsored throughout the year, including a fun run and the Fitness Challenge.
The Fitness Center is closed during home basketball games and during holidays when the college offices are closed.
Absolutely NO CHILDREN will be allowed on any machines unless they are 13 years of age or older and a current member of the Fitness Center.
