Carleen Nordell has coached the Cheer squad at Cloud for 13 years, and the Dance team for 12 years. For the past six years, her teams have competed at the Sunflower Cheer and Dance Competition. In addition to awards from the those events, the Dance Team won 2nd place at the National Cheer and Dance Competition in 2000.
Coach Nordell has a national coaches certificate with NDA/NCA.
Nordell enjoys singing, spending time with family and friends, decorating the house for holidays, and working in her yard. She also enjoys supporting the other athletic teams at Cloud. Nordell has a husband, Mark, and four children: Derick, Trevor, Ian, and Jara.
