Kevin Muff coached high school basketball for eight years: three years at Atwood, Kansas and five years at Wamego, Kansas. Muff worked for three seasons at Pittsburg State University, including one year as a graduate assistant and two years as the head assistant. At Cloud County, Muff coached the Thunderbirds to the Co-Championship spot in the Jayhawk West Conference in 2006, finishing with a record of 24 wins and 9 losses.

Muff and his wife Kim have three daughters: Alex, Skyler, and Taylor. Kim Muff teaches language arts at Cloud County.

Outside of work, Muff enjoys watching his daughters participate in school activities and takes great pride in their academic successes. Muff enjoys both hunting and fishing as hobbies.

Eshbaugh began his coaching career at Eudora High School, where he directed the Cardinals to the best four-year combined record in school history. Eshbaugh then returned to his hometown of Topeka to become the head coach at Topeka West High School.

Over the course of five years at West, the Chargers enjoyed three "Final Fours", two league titles, a 23-game home court winning streak, and a combined overall record of 78-39. Coach Eshbaugh has had 14 players go on to the collegiate level, including T-Birds Reed Hein, Girod Adams, Ike Walker, and Kissom Moss.

Eshbaugh, and his wife Amy, are both originally from Topeka, KS and now reside in Concordia with their two daughters, Jordan and Mykah.
