The Cloud County Community College Foundation is organized as a not-for-profit corporation. It is a 501(c)3 organization under the rules of the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Kansas.
The Foundation was formed to help carry forward a continuing development program which will develop, improve, advance and support Cloud County Community College and to that end has the powers to perform any and all lawful acts permitted by a corporation by law to carry out its purposes.
A Board of Directors of 19 oversees Foundation activities and sets policy. Members of the Board are elected for four-year terms; officers are elected for two-year terms. There is an Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Development Committee and Directors Committee which meet between regularly scheduled meetings. The Foundation is audited annually. Tax returns are filed with the Internal Revenue Service and the Secretary of State of Kansas. All donors to the Foundation are eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting held every November on the Campus. The Foundation publishes an annual report.

The Foundation is a full service organization. The Staff can provide consultation and plans for interested parties. These may include language for a will, language to include The Foundation in any form of testamentary gift, or language to establish a charitable trust. The Foundation maintains donors records and files on all current and past donors.

Giving Clubs

The Foundation offers several giving clubs, all based on giving levels. The Century Club is the oldest continuing giving club. Funds generated through the club support athletic programs. Friends is a club for donors who wish to have an alternative to athletics at a level of $100. The College Associates merits a gift of $250 annually, and the Presidents Club requires an annual gift of $500 or more.
