Learning Skills Center

How can we help?

The Learning Skills Center provides support for students seeking academic success. The Center offers college preparatory courses through individual and small group instruction. Developmental courses are available in reading, vocabulary, study skills, grammar, spelling, mathematics, and pre-algebra. Different learning styles can be accommodated. Peer tutors are available on a drop-in basis, or during scheduled hours at the Writing Center, Science Center, and Math Center.

Need extra credit?

Courses are available for credit toward graduation. Free individual assistance is provided by professional staff and college-approved peer tutors. Group workshops are presented without charge on specific topics. Computers are available for student use.
