Cloud County offers an Associate of Arts in Music degree, a two-year program designed to prepare graduates for transfer to a four-year institution.
The Music Department offers many activity options, giving students performance opportunities as well as opportunities to attend professional concerts. Students can choose from a variety of different courses, including Harmony and Ear Training, World Music, American Music, and Applied lessons on guitar, wind and percussion instruments, piano, and voice.
Cloud offers community performance opportunities for instrumentalists in the North Central Kansas Community Band and the Cloud Kicks Jazz Ensemble. Vocalists may join the Heartland Community Chorus. These groups are open to all members of the community as well as full-time students at CCCC.
Chamber music opportunity is available through membership in the Cloud Brass and Bent Wind ensembles. The Cloud Brass is a brass choir of flexible instrumentation. The Bent Wind is a saxophone choir that varies in size from three to eight members. Membership in these groups is by audition.
