Sara Beikman

Educational Background

Bachelor of Science in Nursing - University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston

Master of Science in Nursing - Grand Canyon University (in progress)

Sara has been a nurse since 1996. She brings 22 years of clinical and administrative nursing experience.   She has hospital experience in labor and delivery, post-partum, and newborn nursery, medical surgical nursing, emergency room, and ambulatory care. Her administrative and leadership experience includes infection control, employee health, occupational health, and emergency preparedness and Director of Nursing Services. She has also had teaching experience, both in the classroom and clinical setting. She has been an AWHONN Fetal Monitor Instructor, Childbirth Educator, and certified Breastfeeding Educator for approximately 13 years. In addition, she served as clinical adjunct nursing staff from 2006-2012 with Cloud’s nursing program. Although she loves providing patient care, she also loves to teach. In 2017, she started working towards her master’s degree in nursing education and started working for CCCC’s Nursing Program.

Personal Note:

Sara and her husband, Doug, farm and have three daughters, which keep them very busy with various activities. Sara loves to spend time with family and friends, play various card games, cook, travel and shop. She also loves sports and attending various sporting events, especially volleyball. She has also coached volleyball at the junior high, high school, and club levels.
