The Cloud County Community College Music Program aims to be a springboard for students who are not only capable of being outstanding musicians, but also citizens committed to fostering a culture of excellence, respect, and perseverance in all aspects of their lives. We strive to create an inclusive environment where all students are given the chance to succeed.

If you're considering music as a possible career, the music theory preparation offered at Cloud has a 100% success and placement rate throughout Kansas' colleges and universities.

Cloud County offers an Associate in Arts degree with a Music Emphasis. This two-year program is designed to prepare graduates for transfer to a four-year institution.

The Music Department offers many activity options, giving students performance opportunities as well as opportunities to attend professional concerts. Students can choose from a variety of different courses, including Harmony and Ear Training, World Music, American Music, and Applied lessons on guitar, wind and percussion instruments, piano, and voice.

Cloud offers community performance opportunities for instrumentalists in the North Central Kansas Community Band and the Cloud Kicks Jazz Ensemble. Vocalists may join the Heartland Community Chorus. These groups are open to all members of the community as well as full-time students at CCCC.
