Dr. Larry Lundblad has served as a consultant for the Higher Learning Commission following his retirement in 2016 as president for 10 years of Central Lakes College in Brainerd and Staples, Minn. Prior to his stint at Central Lakes, he was Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs at South Central College in Minnesota.

He received his Ph.D. with an emphasis in Technical Education and Adult Education and Training and Development from the University of Minnesota. He has a bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Minnesota State University, as well as a bachelor’s in horticulture and agronomy from Iowa State. He has masters’ degrees in continuing studies and industrial psychology, both from Minnesota State.

Dr. Mark Smith is currently the vice president of educational services at Temple College in Temple, Texas. At Temple College, Smith has also served as associate vice president for distance education, a position he held for four years. Prior to his tenure at Temple, he was Director of Student Affairs and Distance Learning at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Smith also served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force in various roles related to radio and computer systems.

Smith has a Ph.D. from Cappella University, and a bachelor’s and master’s in business administration from William Carey College. He also has three associates degrees – an AS in electronic systems technology and an AS in instruction of technology and military science from the Community College of the Air Force, and an AS in technology from Fort Steilacoom Community College (Pierce College.)

Dr. Adrian Henderson Douglas has served as the vice president of business services at Eastfield College in Mesquite, Texas. She manages the college’s $46 million budget, and is also responsible for the business office, information technology, and auxiliary services at the college.

She has more than 20 years experience in accounting and education, which includes service in the three major sectors of community colleges. She was also a full-time faculty member where she taught business courses, worked in various roles in student services, and currently operates Eastfield’s business services.

Douglas holds a Ph.D. in Community College Leadership from Colorado State University, a master’s degree in business administration from LeTourneau University, and a bachelor’s degree in business (accounting) from Southern University.
